About Us
Springfield Elementary School serves students in pre-kindergarten through second grade, providing a strong foundation for early learning. Our school includes two pre-kindergarten classes and one exceptional children pre-kindergarten class to support a wide range of student needs from the very beginning.
We are proud of our experienced and dedicated staff. Most of our teachers have been with us for more than 15 years, and 86% are highly certified and trained in the Letters program, which strengthens reading instruction for young learners.
Students at Springfield benefit from strong community partnerships. One example is our participation in the One School, One Book program, where every student receives the same book to read at home with their family. They return to school ready to take part in fun, learning-focused discussions and activities centered around the story.
We also work closely with Kiser Elementary to help ensure a smooth transition for our students as they move on to third grade. These partnerships between schools help students feel confident, supported and ready for success.
Recently, Springfield Elementary has seen exciting improvements to our campus, including a new $40,000 playground, a new parking lot and a fence to provide a safe, enclosed space for our students and staff.
At Springfield Elementary, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where every child can learn and grow.
